Website that are similiar to mines are
1.KarmaCouture- I love this website from the cover page on. This site is girly, fancy, and stylish. they have name brands, affordable prices, and hard to find items.
2. My girlfriends Wardrobe- This site was easy to manuvere on, there was alot to look at and choose from.
3. Once in a Blue Moon. I choose this site because it has items that you won't find everyday.
4. Consignmentchic- I choose this site because its been featured in Southern magazine and Fox Business News and, it just sounds classy. It's also an easy functioning site. Although they desplayed alot of things that were already sold.
5. Amazon- This is a basic site, it gets alot of traffic and has stood the test of time. There is alot to choose from and look at. shipping is affordable if not free.

Chapter 4 Questions
1. The value of the netflix.com/affiliates as a marketing channel is that it reaches so many different people with different walks of life. There is no limit to how many people just one person can reach let alone hundreds. Word of mouth is everything.
2. A consumer might be motivated to provide answers to market research questions for various reasons. The consumer may have used the product themself and want to share their positive or negative feedback with other consumers. The consumer may have relied on another consumers feedback reguarding a specific product in the past and either used it or stayed away from it. Some consumers just like to feel apart of since they are consumers.
3. On mysimon.com the information I share might be used by the company for marketing in a specific industry by using my age and the specific products I select as a criteria for marketing similar products to others in my age range. They may use the fact I purchased baby clothes and market more baby clothing to my age range, or if I purchased furniture they may assume I am a homeowner because of my age and market more furniture to that age range.
4. Affiliate Marketing has a ver simliar definition in the book as it does on marketingterms.com
Banner on marketingterms.com is broke down into different types where in the book it's just a general definition.
Interactive Marketing is also more in-depth and broke down on the web site than it is in our book, with examples and opinions.
Pop-up Ad has the same definition, it is also broken down into different types of ads.
Pop-under Ad is the same, it tells different shaps, sizes, etc
Spamming pulls up Search Engine Spam. The definition is similar but much more professional shall I say. There are more and bigger words used on the website than in my text book.
Keyword Banner has a very similar definition in the text book as it does on markertingterms.com. this is the most similar I've seen yet. It's almost word for word.
Permission Marketing in the text book as well as on marketingterms.com both speak about customer consent. this is also a word with a very similar definition both places.
Cookie in the text book talks about files being placed on user's hard drive without consent, the website doesnt but, they both talk about this file being placed by remote webserver. same definition, different routes of getting there.
Unique Visitors has the same definition on both the website and in the text book. the websire definantlygets a little more technical with more in-depth facts.

On 2020research.com the four areas for market reasearch about consumers are QualMeeting, QualBoard with Webcams, QualLink, QualBoard Mobile these are places that participants log in at times and from locations that are convenient to them, answering questions posted by a moderator while reading and responding to the other participants’ comments.
On infosurv.com the four areas for market research about consumers are customer feedback, employee surveys, telephone surveys, and online market research.
On marketingsherpa.com four areas for market research are email marketing, event marketing, marketing research charts, and webinars.
7. Some interesting promotion ideas I found on selfpromotion.com were to do your research before hiring anyone to do your promotion, consider paying for the hits, if your selling something make sure your selling the right thing, and send me money.
8. Both hotwire.com and espn.com use advertising methods such as television, radio, web, us mail, billboards, and magazines. Targeted methods might include cellphone apps, television commercials, all of them really could people targeted someone through the different channels.
The revenue sources I see on hotwire.com are rental car places, hotels/motels, airlines, and vacation spots.

These activities can increase branding by making the activity seem personal and just for you. this was like getting an experts opinion without going to the salon. I'm sure consumers would love this. They can find out exactly what they want before going to the store to actually shop. Consumers like feeling special and paid attention to. this is how this could increase sales.
